THEO NISSIM
Chief Executive Officer

Theo is a seasoned Silicon Valley technology executive with more than 20 years experience. He has led pre-IPO start-ups, built dozens of technical teams, developed technology strategies and driven innovative products and solutions to market. One of Theo’s many strengths and passions is managing large scale, cross-functional development efforts to high profile product releases. Theo has held executive and management positions with large public companies, Sun Microsystems and Wind River Systems, and served as the Engineering Vice President for four VC funded start-ups, Blazent, Digital Fountain, AuctionWatch and AdKnowledge. The Romanian development centers Theo established for Blazent and AuctionWatch still operate in Bucharest.

Theo has a Masters Degree in Computer Engineering from the Technion, Israeli Institute of Technology in Haifa Israel. He lives in Palo Alto, California, with his wife and twin boys.

LISA NISSIM
Chief Financial Officer

Lisa has worked in private and public industry finance and budgeting for over 20 years. She has a Masters Degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelors Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.

FLORIN PARLEA
Managing Director

A close friend of Gemini Solutions since its inception, Florin has worn many hats, establishing Gemini Solutions and two other American based start-ups in Romania. Florin created and manages the Gemini Solutions Romanian technical and administrative team.

He hopes one day to have the time to immerse himself into the works of modern and ancient philosophers and enjoys listening to George Enescu and The Beatles.

SERBAN TIR
Director of Engineering

Serban graduated from the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications in Bucharest, and has worked in the Romanian IT community since 1996. Serban’s rich experience includes roles as software developer, team leader, software architect, and technical manager.

In his spare time he watches movies and listens to heavy metal music - in Dolby Digital where available.

RAZVAN LAZAR
Senior Technical Lead and Architect

Razvan works on Gemini Solution’s infrastructure solutions design in multimedia and security areas. His current research interests are software architecture, in particular architectural decisions and the decision process. Razvan has been a part of the Romanian IT community since 1999.

When not in front of a computer, he’s a passionate and fairly accomplished guitarist.

VLAD HOCIOTA
Senior Technical Lead and Architect

An experienced software architect and developer in both Windows and *NIX worlds, Vlad specializes in infrastructure for large-scale systems (including networked, web-based, client-server, distributed systems).

He is interested in developing sound solutions to challenging business issues and keeps a close eye on emerging web standards and technologies like REST and RoR. When not hacking, Vlad can be found playing with his young son or improving his guitar skills.
